Learning Support Project (LSP)

Supporting underserved learners with essential educational resources and helping build stronger, more inclusive learning communities across Ghana.

About the Learning Support Project

Future Bridge Tech Foundation (FBTF) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2026 Learning Support Project (LSP).

The initiative provides essential school supplies including exercise books, notebooks, pens, mathematical sets, school uniforms and school bags to underserved, vulnerable and low-income learners across Ghana.

The project gives particular attention to girls' education, learner retention and schools in disadvantaged communities.

Who Can Apply?

Applications may be submitted by:

Parents & Guardians

Parents or guardians may apply on behalf of learners in need.

Community Leaders

Community representatives may identify vulnerable learners.

Organizations

Eligible organizations may submit applications for learners or schools.

Schools & Headteachers

Headteachers and school authorities may apply for individual learners, classes or entire schools.

Whole-Class or Whole-School Applications

Headteachers and school authorities may apply on behalf of:

  • A specific class, such as KG 2, P2 or JHS1.
  • The entire school.

Such applications must include:

  1. Total number of learners in each class.
  2. Gender breakdown showing the number of boys and girls.
  3. A clear justification explaining the need for support.

Adoption & Continuous Support

FBTF may adopt a class or school for continuous yearly support where the initiative demonstrates measurable and sustainable improvements in learner outcomes.

Indicators may include:

  • Increased enrolment.
  • Improved attendance.
  • Higher learner retention rates.
  • Demonstrated improvement in learning participation.

Individual Learner Applications

Applications submitted on behalf of an individual learner must include:

  1. Learner's full name
  2. Age, class and school
  3. Community and district
  4. Reason for the request
  5. Contact details of the parent, guardian or school representative

Mandatory Requirement for Email Applications

All applications submitted by email must include the following two documents:

1. Cover Letter

A formal cover letter addressed to the Executive Director of Future Bridge Tech Foundation.

2. Proposal or Justification Document

The required document depends on the type of application:

  • Individual learner: Justification document.
  • Class or whole school: Proposal/Justification document.
PDF FORMAT ONLY: Both the Cover Letter and Proposal/Justification must be prepared in PDF format and attached to the application email.

Applications submitted without the required documents will be rejected.

Application Deadline
31st May 2026

All applications must be submitted on or before the deadline.
Late submissions will not be considered.

Important Information

  • Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
  • FBTF may verify applications through headteachers, school authorities or community leaders.
  • Distribution of learning materials is expected to begin before the new academic term.
  • Adopted schools and classes may receive periodic monitoring and follow-up.
  • Applicants are expected to provide accurate and verifiable information.
