The Maiden
Board Meeting of Future Bridge Tech Foundation (FBTF) was held on Saturday,
1st November 2025, marking a historic moment in the Foundation’s journey.
This first gathering of Board members, directors, and key program managers set
the tone for strategic governance, program oversight, and the
operationalization of initiatives designed to bridge educational,
technological, and social gaps across Ghana.
Setting the Stage
The meeting began with an overview of FBTF’s mission: to empower individuals
and communities through innovation, education, and inclusion. The Board
reflected on the vision of creating opportunities for underserved communities,
particularly youth and women, and emphasized the importance of measurable
impact in every initiative.

Digital Inclusion & Literacy
The Board reviewed plans to bring technology closer to communities.

entrepreneurs to scale operations, improve performance, and create jobs.

Launch Pad Initiative will support early-stage startups with
incubation, mentorship, access to funding, and opportunities to pitch
innovative ideas.

Community Development and Sustainability
Promoting community-driven growth and environmental responsibility was
emphasized.

Innovative Projects Initiative will support eco-friendly solutions and
sustainable practices.
- Bridge
Labs Challenge Initiative will inspire youth innovation through
competitions, hackathons, and collaborative labs.

Connect Grants Initiative will provide small grants to empower

Key Decisions and Approvals
The Board approved operational plans for all initiatives, set milestones, and
endorsed strategic partnerships to strengthen program reach. Budgets for
immediate and long-term activities were allocated to ensure smooth
implementation.
Governance, Compliance, and Volunteer Engagement
The Board reaffirmed its commitment to good governance, transparency,
and merit-based decision-making in line with the Companies Act, 2019 (Act
992). Volunteer recruitment, training, and engagement strategies were also
approved, with plans for mentorship and capacity-building workshops to enhance
program delivery.
