FBTF Announces Teacher Digital Training (TDT) Project 2026

Future Bridge Tech Foundation (FBTF) is pleased to announce the launch of the Teacher Digital Training (TDT) Project 2026, an educational capacity-building initiative under the Foundation's Education and Skill Development Programme Area.

The TDT Project is designed to strengthen the digital competencies of teachers and promote the effective integration of technology into teaching and learning. Through practical training and collaborative learning experiences, the project seeks to equip educators with relevant digital skills needed for modern classroom instruction.

As part of the first phase of implementation, FBTF will organize a 2-day Teacher Digital Training Programme from Thursday, 24th September 2026 to Friday, 25th September 2026 at the Accra Leadership Center in partnership with GSR Training Consulting.

The programme will bring together thirty (30) selected teachers from:

  • Ga East Municipality, Abokobi

  • La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipality, Madina

  • Adentan Municipality, Adenta

Participants will receive practical training in areas such as:

  • Digital literacy and productivity tools

  • Digital lesson planning

  • E-learning platforms and resources

  • Online assessment tools

  • Classroom technology integration

  • Responsible and safe use of digital technologies

  • Collaborative and innovative teaching approaches

The Teacher Digital Training (TDT) Project forms part of FBTF's commitment to improving educational outcomes through technology, innovation, teacher empowerment, and lifelong learning opportunities.

To ensure effective implementation, the Foundation has commenced stakeholder engagement, institutional coordination, and operational planning activities. An official Board Planning Meeting has been scheduled for Saturday, 4th July 2026 at the Accra Leadership Center to review project plans, logistics, partnerships, and implementation arrangements.
