Overview
The Green
Innovation Projects
is a flagship program under the Community Development &
Sustainability Program of Future Bridge Tech Foundation (FBTF).
It is
designed to inspire, support and promote eco-friendly innovations that address
environmental and sustainability challenges within communities through
technology, education and creativity.
This project empowers individuals especially youth, students and community
groups to design and implement practical solutions that promote environmental
conservation, climate resilience and sustainable living.
By combining
innovation, research and local participation, the Green Innovation Projects transforms environmental awareness into concrete community-driven
actions.
The project aligns with FBTF’s commitment to bridging gaps and building sustainable futures
through technology and innovation.
It
contributes directly to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs), particularly SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and
Communities), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).
Objectives
1. To
promote environmental awareness and eco-friendly innovation among youth and
communities.
2. To
support community-based initiatives that address environmental challenges using
technology and creativity.
3. To
encourage the development of sustainable solutions for waste management,
renewable energy and green infrastructure.
4. To foster
collaboration between innovators, schools and industries for sustainable
impact.
5. To build
local capacity for climate action, environmental stewardship and green
entrepreneurship.
6. To
recognize and showcase outstanding green innovators and community projects.
Structure
/ Components

Environmental Education & Awareness Campaigns – Workshops and outreach
programs in schools and communities to raise awareness about environmental
protection, climate change and green practices.
2. Innovation
Challenge & Project Design – Participants are guided to identify local
environmental issues and develop innovative, practical solutions such as
recycling systems, solar-powered devices or sustainable agriculture models.
3. Project
Implementation Support – Selected projects receive technical mentorship,
seed funding or material support to bring their innovations to life.
4. Monitoring
& Impact Assessment – Continuous evaluation of project outcomes,
sustainability and scalability across communities.
5. Green
Innovation Fair / Showcase – Annual exhibitions where participants display
their innovations, share lessons and connect with potential partners and
investors.
