Mr. Joseph Adu — Programs Manager

Mr. Joseph Adu is a seasoned Information Technology professional, consultant, and educator with over two decades of experience spanning IT project management, digital literacy training, systems administration, and institutional technology integration. He holds both a Master’s and bachelor’s degree in information technology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Before joining Future Bridge Tech Foundation, Mr. Adu served in several key capacities, including Head of the ICT Department at the Ghana Armed Forces Engineer Training School, IT Director at Green Earth Organization, and ICT Coordinator for the World University Service of Canada’s INVEST Project at the Accra Technical Training Centre. He has also been a Lecturer at the Ghana Armed Forces College of Nursing and Midwifery, where he continues to impart IT knowledge to tertiary students.

A dedicated trainer and mentor, Mr. Adu has contributed to national and international initiatives such as the Girls’ Education Project (GES/Plan International) and the STEM Project (GES/ActionAid), helping young learners—especially girls—gain essential digital literacy skills. His leadership in establishing ICT infrastructure, including a 60-seater multimedia lab for Achimota Basic School, underscores his commitment to advancing technology-driven education.

At Future Bridge Tech Foundation, Mr. Adu leads the design, coordination, and implementation of technology, education, and empowerment programs. He brings to the Foundation a wealth of experience in ICT innovation, training, and mentorship, ensuring that every project aligns with the Foundation’s mission to bridge social and digital divides across communities.
