Overview
The Digital
Inclusion & Literacy Program is the first major program of the Future
Bridge Tech Foundation (FBTF).
It is
designed to bridge the widening digital divide by promoting equitable access to
technology, digital education and innovation in underserved communities.
The program focuses on empowering individuals especially youth, women and students with the digital skills, tools and opportunities needed to participate
effectively in the digital economy.
Through its
community-centered projects, the program provides access to computers,
internet connectivity and practical training that fosters digital empowerment
and lifelong learning.
This program forms the foundation of FBTF’s vision to create a world where every person and
community can leverage technology to improve education, livelihoods and social
inclusion.
Core
Objectives

inclusive access to digital tools, training and resources for all.
2. Build
digital literacy and competency among youth, teachers and women.
3. Establish
community technology centers that provide lifelong digital learning.
4. Reduce
barriers to technology access through device donation and outreach.
5. Encourage
innovation and problem-solving through applied digital education.
6.
Strengthen local capacity to use technology for social and economic
advancement.
Structure
/ Components
The Digital
Inclusion and Literacy Program operates through a network of interlinked
projects that collectively enhance technology access, learning, and innovation
across communities.
Projects
under this Program:
1. Community
Digital Hubs – Establishing technology centers that serve as safe,
accessible learning spaces equipped with computers, internet and trainers for
digital education and innovation.
2. Mobile
Tech Clinics – Taking digital literacy to the doorstep of rural and
underserved communities using mobile setups that deliver on-site ICT training,
repair services and awareness campaigns.
3. Device
Donation Project – Collecting and redistributing refurbished computers,
tablets and other digital devices to schools, community groups and
individuals in need.
Management
by Volunteers
This program is coordinated by a network of dedicated volunteers, digital trainers and
technical support teams under the supervision of a Project Coordinator.
Volunteers
manage training sessions, maintain community hubs and organize outreach
activities in schools and local centers.
Each Digital
Hub and Mobile Clinic is supervised by a Volunteer Hub Lead, who oversees local
operations, ensures the safety of equipment, and manages impact reporting.
A central
Digital Inclusion Program Manager monitors the implementation, ensuring
accountability, resource efficiency and alignment with FBTF’s digital
empowerment objectives.
