The
Community Digital Hubs is one of the flagship projects under Program 1: Digital Inclusion & Literacy of Future Bridge Tech Foundation (FBTF). It
is designed to establish accessible technology and learning spaces within
communities particularly in low-income, rural and peri-urban areas where
individuals can gain essential digital knowledge, access technological
resources and connect to opportunities for education, entrepreneurship and
employment.
Each hub
functions as a one-stop center for digital empowerment, equipped with
computers, internet connectivity, educational materials and trained volunteer
facilitators. Through this project, FBTF fulfills its mission of bridging
gaps and building bridges by promoting digital inclusion and equitable access
to technology and information.
• Increase
digital literacy among youth, women and underserved groups.

Each
Community Digital Hub is managed primarily by trained volunteers under the
supervision of Future Bridge Tech Foundation’s project coordinators. Volunteers
serve as hub facilitators, technical assistants and trainers, providing daily
support to participants. They also help in maintaining the equipment,
monitoring attendance and ensuring the hubs operate smoothly.
A Hub
Coordinator oversees all activities, liaises with FBTF’s central office and
ensures that reporting and documentation are consistent. Periodic assessments
and evaluations are conducted to measure impact and ensure accountability. FBTF
may also partner with local authorities, schools or private entities to
sustain operations and expand reach.
