Teacher Digital Training

Overview

The Teacher Digital Training Proje is a key project under the Education & Skill Development Project of Future Bridge Tech Foundation (FBTF). This project focuses on building the capacity of teachers, educators and school administrators in the effective use of digital tools, online platforms and modern teaching methodologies.

Recognizing that teachers are the backbone of education, the program seeks to empower them with the knowledge and confidence to integrate technology into classroom instruction, improve student engagement, and enhance learning outcomes. The training ensures educators are equipped to deliver inclusive, interactive, and future-ready education aligned with 21st-century demands.

Objectives

        Strengthen teachers digital literacy and pedagogical competence.

        Promote technology integration in teaching, assessment and classroom management.

        Enhance teachers ability to access and create digital learning content.

        Foster innovation, collaboration and continuous professional development in education.

        Ensure equitable access to technology-enabled teaching resources, especially in underserved schools.

Program Components

Digital Literacy for Teachers: Introduction to basic ICT skills, online safety and use of productivity tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and MS Access.

E-Learning and Virtual Classrooms: Training on how to use digital platforms like Google Classroom, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Moodle for teaching and assessment.

Content Creation: Hands-on workshops on creating educational videos, e-learning modules and interactive lesson materials.

STEM & Innovation Integration: Training teachers to incorporate practical science, coding and problem-solving activities into lessons.

Monitoring and Continuous Support: Regular follow-ups, refresher training, and peer learning communities to ensure sustainability.

Management and Volunteer Involvement

The Teacher Digital Training Project is managed by FBTF鈥檚 Education and Innovation Unit, with support from volunteer trainers, ICT professionals,

and partner institutions. Volunteers serve as facilitators and trainers delivering in-person and virtual sessions, technical support staff assisting with software setup and troubleshooting and monitoring & evaluation assistants tracking participation and progress. Each training session is supervised by a Project Coordinator who ensures smooth delivery, adherence to standards and post-training impact assessment.

Eligibility Criteria

        Be a registered teacher, tutor, or school administrator from a recognized institution.

        Demonstrate willingness to adopt digital teaching tools.

        Have basic computer literacy (no advanced skills required).

        Commit to attending all scheduled sessions.

        Preference is given to educators in rural, low-resource or public schools.

Selection Process

1.     Application: Interested teachers apply through FBTF鈥檚 official website or partner education offices.

2.     Screening: Applicants are assessed based on need, location, and commitment to implement the training outcomes.

3.     Shortlisting: Selected participants are grouped by region or district for coordinated training.

4.     Confirmation: Successful candidates receive invitations and pre-training resources.

These collaborations ensure scalability, sustainability and alignment with national education priorities.
