Volunteer Guidelines

Introduction

Volunteers are at the heart of Future Bridge Tech Foundation (FBTF). These guidelines are designed to help you understand your role, responsibilities, and rights as a volunteer. By joining our team, you contribute directly to our mission of bridging gaps and building bridges through education, technology, and empowerment.

Volunteering at FBTF provides an opportunity to:

- Support community empowerment projects.

- Gain valuable experience in education, technology, and leadership.

- Collaborate with other passionate individuals and professionals.

- Contribute to social impact initiatives that promote inclusion and sustainability.

2. Volunteer Responsibilities

- FBTF’s mission, vision, and objectives.

- Safety and operational procedures.

- Communication and reporting lines.

- The specific program or department they’ll serve.

5. Duration and Commitment

Volunteer duration varies by project — from short-term events to long-term community programs. Volunteers are expected to commit to agreed schedules and notify coordinators of any changes in availability.

6. Recognition and Growth

FBTF values its volunteers and acknowledges their contributions through:

- Certificates of participation or appreciation.

- Opportunities for mentorship and leadership roles.

- Recommendations for outstanding service.

- Inclusion in FBTF’s network and events.

7. Safety and Welfare

The Foundation prioritizes volunteer safety. All volunteers must follow safety protocols during fieldwork and report any incident to their supervisor immediately. FBTF will provide necessary protective materials or training where applicable.
