💼 Program: Entrepreneurship & Empowerment

Overview

The Entrepreneurship Empowerment Program is the third flagship program of Future Bridge Tech Foundation (FBTF).

It seeks to build a new generation of entrepreneurs particularly women, youth and educators equipped with the knowledge, mindset and tools to start, grow and sustain innovative enterprises that drive social and economic transformation.

Recognizing that unemployment and lack of entrepreneurial support limit economic potential, this project bridges the gap between business ideas and implementation through incubation, mentorship and enterprise development support.

It provides participants with access to training, business development resources, mentorship and networks that enable them to transform creative ideas into viable, scalable, and impactful ventures.

Through this program, FBTF promotes self-reliance, innovation, and sustainable livelihoods, particularly among underrepresented groups.

This program directly supports FBTF’s mission to bridge gaps and build bridges by linking knowledge to opportunity and innovation to empowerment.

Core Objectives

1. Empower aspiring entrepreneurs, especially women and youth with practical business skills and innovation tools.

2. Support the creation and growth of startups that contribute to local economic development.

3. Foster mentorship, networking and access to resources for early-stage entrepreneurs.

4. Strengthen female entrepreneurship and leadership in technology and business.

6. Promote innovation-driven enterprises that address community and national challenges.

Structure / Components

The Entrepreneurship Empowerment Program is implemented through three key projects that target different stages of entrepreneurial development from idea incubation to business growth and startup acceleration.

Projects under this program:

Management by Volunteers

The program is driven by volunteer professionals, mentors, and business coaches who contribute their expertise to empower participants.

A Volunteer Program Coordinator oversees logistics, partnerships, and mentor-participant relations, ensuring smooth implementation and accountability.

Each project under this program has a Volunteer Lead Mentor responsible for training delivery, mentorship coordination and performance tracking.

The team also includes Volunteer Communications Officers who document progress stories and facilitate linkages with investors and partners.

This volunteer-based management structure not only reduces program costs but also fosters community ownership and long-term mentorship continuity.
