Partnership & Resource Mobilization Policy of FBTF

1.0 Introduction

Future Bridge Tech Foundation (FBTF) recognizes that strategic partnerships and effective resource mobilization are vital to achieving its mission of bridging educational, technological, and social gaps. This policy provides a framework for developing, managing, and sustaining partnerships and mobilizing resources in a transparent, ethical, and sustainable manner.

 

2.0 Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to:

         Establish clear principles and procedures for forming partnerships and mobilizing resources.

         Promote transparency, accountability, and mutual respect in all collaborations.

         Ensure that partnerships align with FBTF鈥檚 vision, mission, and core values.

         Enhance the Foundation鈥檚 capacity to deliver impactful and sustainable programs.

3.0 Scope

This policy applies to all FBTF Directors, management, staff, and volunteers involved in partnership building, fundraising, or resource mobilization efforts. It also guides engagements with corporate partners, donors, development agencies, government institutions, NGOs, and individuals.

4.0 Guiding Principles

All partnership and resource mobilization efforts shall be guided by the following principles:
1. Alignment with Mission: All partnerships must support FBTF鈥檚 vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
2. Transparency and Accountability: All agreements and resource flows must be fully documented, disclosed, and reported.
3. Mutual Benefit: Partnerships should be based on shared values, mutual learning, and common goals.
4. Ethical Engagement: FBTF shall not enter into partnerships that compromise its independence, reputation, or ethical standards.
5. Inclusiveness and Equity: Collaboration should respect diversity and promote equitable participation of all stakeholders.
6. Sustainability: Partnerships must contribute to long-term institutional and community development.

5.0 Partnership Development Framework

5.1 Identification and Assessment
Potential partners shall be identified based on their relevance to FBTF鈥檚 thematic areas鈥攅ducation, women empowerment, and technology. A due diligence assessment will be conducted to evaluate credibility, legal status, track record, and alignment of interests.

5.2 Partnership Categories
FBTF recognizes the following types of partnerships:

         Strategic Partnerships: Long-term collaborations with institutions for shared objectives and sustainability.

         Program Partnerships: Project-specific collaborations for funding, implementation, or technical support.

         Corporate Partnerships: Engagements with private companies for sponsorships, donations, or in-kind support.

         Community Partnerships: Collaborations with local organizations, schools, or community groups to implement grassroots initiatives.

         Institutional and Academic Partnerships: Alliances with universities, research bodies, or training institutions for innovation, research, and capacity building.

5.3 Formalization of Partnerships
All partnerships shall be formalized through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), contracts, or letters of agreement, approved by the Board or Executive Management as appropriate.

6.0 Resource Mobilization

6.1 Sources of Resources
FBTF mobilizes resources through:

         Grants and donor funding.

         Corporate sponsorships and CSR collaborations.

         Public fundraising and crowdfunding campaigns.

         Membership contributions and partnerships.

         In-kind support such as equipment, logistics, or expertise.


6.2 Fundraising Standards
All fundraising and resource mobilization efforts must:

         Comply with Ghanaian laws and international donor standards.

         Be transparent and well-documented.

         Uphold ethical and non-exploitative practices.

         Avoid political or religious bias.

6.3 Donor Relations
The Partnerships & Resource Mobilization Director shall ensure continuous engagement with donors and partners through regular updates, reports, and visibility acknowledgments that highlight impact and accountability.

7.0 Roles and Responsibilities

         Board of Directors: Approves partnership agreements and oversees compliance.

         Executive Director: Provides overall leadership and ensures alignment with organizational strategy.

         Partnerships & Resource Mobilization Director: Leads partnership cultivation, fundraising, and relationship management.

         Finance Department: Ensures accurate financial reporting, auditing, and documentation of all resource inflows.

         Program Managers: Collaborate with partners to implement and monitor projects effectively.

8.0 Monitoring, Reporting, and Review

All partnerships and resource mobilization activities shall be periodically monitored and evaluated to ensure effectiveness and compliance. An annual review report shall be submitted to the Board, summarizing partnerships formed, resources mobilized, and lessons learned. This policy shall be reviewed every three (3) years or earlier if necessary to reflect evolving best practices.

9.0 Effective Date

This Partnership & Resource Mobilization Policy becomes effective this 17th Day of October 2025 as approval by the Board of Directors of Future Bridge Tech Foundation.
